Casting mold is to obtain the structural shape of a part by using other easily formed materials to make the structural shape of the part in advance, and then insert the mold into the sand mold, so that a cavity with the same structural size of the part is formed in the sand mold, and then the liquid is poured into the cavity. After cooling and solidification, the liquid is cooled and solidified. It can form parts with exactly the same shape and structure as the die. It can also be used on the moulding machine and on any moulding machine.
On the one hand, the technical requirements of parts affect the working performance of parts, on the other hand, they are directly related to the economy and feasibility of manufacturing process. Generally speaking, in the process of processing, with the improvement of the surface accuracy, it is inevitable to get a finer surface roughness at the same time, but with the surface roughness worth reducing, the processing cost will increase. Therefore, when deciding the accuracy, the operator should first ensure the performance requirements of the parts, and also consider many factors such as process conditions and manufacturing costs of the parts. In order to ensure the manufacturing quality and accuracy of casting die, the following technical requirements on the part drawings should be met during the processing of die parts:
1. Shape accuracy of parts.
2. Other special requirements.
3. Accuracy of position between Parts'machined surfaces.
4. Surface dimension accuracy of parts.
5. Hardness and heat treatment requirements of parts.
6. Surface roughness of parts.
